Cape Pogue Lighthouse Tour

Travel by over-sand vehicle to the historic and remote Cape Poge Lighthouse. Learn about the fascinating history of the lighthouse and the keepers and their families who lived there. Tour is available Memorial Day thru Columbus Day. Reservations are recommended.

There are three (3) tours daily: 9am, 12 noon, and 2pm. Tour duration is 1.5 hours. Each tour is limited to 12 persons. Tour leaves from Mytoi parking area (on Chappaquiddick); transportation from the Chappy side of the Edgartown Ferry is available.

Cape Pogue Natural History Tour

Travel by over-sand vehicle across the remote sands of Chappaquiddick to Cape Poge Lighthouse and beyond. Learn about barrier beach ecology, wildlife, and property history. Available Memorial Day thru Columbus Day.

Tour leaves fro Mytoi Gardens (on Chappaquiddick); transportation also provided from the Chappy side of the Edgartown ferry. Two tour daily (9am and 2pm) and limited to 12 persons per tour.

Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary

Explore Felix Neck’s two miles of trails, which provide spectacular views of the surrounding woodlands, meadows, pond, salt marsh, and barrier beach. In the summer, enjoy such sights as nesting pairs of ospreys and a tree swallow colony. From the observation building, look for wood ducks and other waterfowl in the pond during the fall and winter. In the spring, barn owls may also be seen nesting in the barn loft. Check the website -- or MV Times newspaper for special individual, children and family programs.

Island Spirit Kayak

Island Spirit Kayak Company of offers a variety of kayak tours. Many guests are first time paddlers. Tours are designed to accommodate all levels of skill and ability. Before each kayak tour there is an instructional session to familiarize you with paddling techniques and the equipment we will be using. Then you'll get the chance to try out your new skills in a sheltered area.

Long Point Wildlife Discovery Tours

Explore Tisbury Great Pond by canoe or kayak. Learn basic paddling techniques, local ecology, and natural history of Long Point Wildlife Refuge. Observe marine life, shorebirds, and the spectacular sandplains of the refuge.

Tours available mid-June thru mid-September. Tours depart from parking area at off-season entrance gate located at the end of Deep Bottom Road. Three (3) tours daily: 8:30am, 11:30am and 1:30pm. Tour duration is 1.5 hours. Reservations required.

Mad Max Sailing Adventures

The Mad Max Adventure sets sail from Edgartown Harbor. Mad Max is a state-of-the-art catamaran, with a mast towering 70 feet above the spacious deck which stretches 60 feet long and 25 feet across. Mad Max offers daily cruises, departing daily at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. from historic Edgartown Harbor, or private charters for up to 49 people.

Martha's Vineyard Kayak Company

Explore the Vineyard's unique ponds and protected waterways by kayak and discover the teeming wildlife that flourishes along picturesque landscapes. All of our kayaks are new and outfitted with life jackets, a cushy backrest and dry bags. We also have tandem kayaks with a child seat, so bring the little one along too.
