There is no shortage of things to do on Martha's Vineyard, if you don't mind being an inquiring mind. The island does takes some getting to know and entertainment - especially nightlife - isn't usually ready-made. Some folks might wonder what there is to do on the island. The truth is, there are plenty of things to do. What makes Martha's Vineyard special is that you can also just as easily NOT do anything - if that's what you want. Indeed, many visitors enjoy the island specifically because it is so removed from the normal commotion of life (everywhere else).
